What’s up? (Week 21, 2010)

30 May 2010 in Weekly Briefs

The last few weeks have been fantastic!
Shaving Detective continues to grow, and I have made some very exciting contacts around the world. The website is still new (less than two monts), but I am really excited to see all the newsletter signups and Twitter messages we recieve. Let me take a few seconds to tell you a bit about what’s going on behind the scenes.

Upcoming product reviews
As I mentioned in an earlier article, I am currently testing the RazorPit blade cleaner. I’m doing a “split test”, meaning that I am currently using two different blades, one with and one without the use of RazorPit. So far (after eight days) it looks promising!

A few days ago I was lucky to receive a beautiful Double Edge razor from Goodfella.com. You can expect my review of this New Zealand made DE razor in a few weeks. (Hey – I can only shave once or twice a day – and I am currently doing the RazorPit thing, okay?) :-)

Giveaways
You still have a chance to get a FREE sample of the Gillette Fusion ProGlide! Hurry up – we only have access to a small amount… (The sample is available to our US readers only!)

Upcoming Articles
Here is what to expect in the next weeks:

  • Review: RazorPit
  • Review: Goodfella Double Edge razor
  • Article: Learning to use a Double Edge razor

More articles could come along sooner than expected – but this is what I will definitely bring to you soon! As always, please contact me with any suggestions and comments! I usully respond to all emails within 24 hours!

Yours,

Hans – your Shaving Detective

About Shaving Detective

Hans is your Shaving Detective, founder and owner of ShavingDetective.com. Apart from writing about shavers and shaving techniques, he also works as a freelance webmaster, runs the software company Toastforums - and acts as an air traffic controller at Copenhagen Airport, Denmark. Hans tries to shave every day - but sometimes find himself with a dark shade on his cheeks... That's when he realizes that he has spent too much time writing articles and developing websites! He is really glad whenever someone signs up for the Shaving Detective newsletter - or decides to follow Shaving Detective on Twitter... ;-)
